The minimum wage in Ukraine has grown by UAH 523 (US$19), to UAH 3,723 ($133) per month as of January 1, 2018, according to the national budget for 2018.
M.V. Ptukha Institute for Demography and Social Studies under the Institute of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine predicts that Ukraine's population may shrink by 5.5 million people by 2050, according to the Ukrainian weekly publication Dzerkalo Tyzhnia (Mirror Weekly).
