Finance Ministry ‘to peg some taxes to inflation’

Given the scope of implementation of taxes and fees, the Finance Ministry proposes to increase excise taxes, the environmental tax and rent fees for the use of radio frequency resources of Ukraine, taking into account the forecast inflation rate of 26.7%.

At the same time, rent fees for the special use of forest resources, the special use of water, and the use of the subsoil for purposes not related to mining are proposed to be increased in line with the producer price index, or by 26.5%.

The corresponding law "On amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine regarding changes in rates of some taxes and fees" has been worked out and submitted for discussion over the next month.
