Ukrainians send over $1 bln home from abroad via money transfer systems in H1

At the same time, Ukrainians transferred $228.9 million in the equivalent from Ukraine to abroad over the period under review. The amount of money transfers inside Ukraine was estimated at UAH 33.870 billion, or $1.53 billion.

According to the NBU, 41 money transfer systems, including 25 local ones and 16 global ones, worked in Ukraine in the first half of 2015.

As was reported, the amount of money transfers sent by Ukrainians to Ukraine from abroad with the use of money transfer systems in the first quarter of 2015 was $502.5 million.

In 2014, money transfers to Ukraine from abroad were estimated at $3.885 billion.
