IMF chief Lagarde to visit Kyiv on September 6

The IMF Managing Director is going to attend a meeting of G-20 finance ministers in Turkey, and she will also visit Ukraine for talks with the Ukrainian authorities on September 6, according to Murray.

In addition, an IMF mission is expected to visit Kyiv on September 22 to discuss with the Ukrainian authorities the second review of Ukraine's cooperation program with the IMF, Murray said.

The mission will focus on such issues as continuation of reforms, implementation of a new tax policy, as well as Ukraine's fulfillment of its anti-corruption commitments.
