Naftogaz insists that since the beginning of the occupation, Henichesk has been provided with gas produced locally, at the Strilkove deposit near Arabatska Strilka (Arabat Spit) in Kherson region.

As UNIAN reported, while meeting with de-facto head of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov, Putin ordered gas shipments from the occupied peninsula to Ukraine's Henichesk, the Kremlin's press service said on November 12. Aksyonov informed Putin there had been requests from residents of Henichesk for the supply of gas from Crimea.
