
The NBU says that compared with the previous quarter, the volume of private transfers to Ukraine in the third quarter increased by $69 million, or 5%.
According to the NBU, through the correspondent accounts of banks $591 million was transferred, through the international payment systems - another $581 million, and through informal channels $266 million came in.

Most funds came from Russia (24.7%), the U.S. (13.4%), Germany (6.6%), Cyprus (5.9%), and UK (5.7%).
As UNIAN reported earlier, the volume of private transfers to Ukraine in the second quarter of 2016 increased by 6.2% compared to the same quarter of the previous year and by 14.3% compared with the previous quarter - to $1.369 billion.
