Biden says sanctions against Russia have to continue

"Currently Russia is occupying Ukrainian territory, sending its own tanks and missiles to the Donbas,” Biden said.

“This is an attempt to redraw the borders of Europe, undermine the security of Ukraine, and your desire to live peacefully in Europe. And therefore the sanctions imposed should be maintained so that Russia meets all its obligations under the Minsk Agreement, and returns to Ukraine control over its borders," Biden said.

Biden also stressed that Ukraine has made its choice, and no other country can cancel or oppose this choice.
