Two men spilled red paint on the monument to Vladimir Lenin during the opening ceremony of this monument after repair- restoration works in Kyiv today.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, people, who gathered on the occasion of the opening ceremony of the monument, reacted immediately – they beat up these men.
As a result the police detained both violators.
