Justice Minister signs and files lawsuit to ban activity of Communist Party

Justice Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Petrenko signed and filed a lawsuit to the court to ban activity of the Communist Party of Ukraine (CPU).

According to an UNIAN correspondent, the Minister said this at press conference in Kyiv.

Petrenko noted that summing up a great number of documentary information concerning illegal actions of the CPU, which was given to the Justice Ministry by the law-enforcement bodies, “I made a decision today: signed and filed a lawsuit to ban activity of Communist Party of Ukraine”.

Petrenko noted that the lawsuit was filed to District Administrative Court of Kyiv and it was registered today.
