"The most violent clashes took place in the village of Shyrokyne. The fighting lasted many hours there yesterday. The militants tried to assault our fortified positions, using tanks and 120mm mortars that should have already been withdrawn from the demarcation line according to the Minsk agreements," Lysenko said.
