"An armed incident occurred at the demarcation line on Monday. The militants who control the ruined Donetsk airport opened fire on our positions near the villages of Opytne and Pisky. One Ukrainian soldier was killed in the fighting," he said.

At the same time, according to the Information Resistance Group, with reference to a representative of the ATO Staff in Luhansk region Ruslan Tkachuk, a 38-year-old soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces suffered numerous injuries in a booby-trap blast near the town of Zolote in Luhansk region.
"According to preliminary information, the soldier was injured as a result of stepping on an explosive device in the forest belt between the town of Zolote and the territory controlled by the illegal armed groups at about 05:20 Kyiv time," Tkachuk said.
Earlier, the Information Resistance Group said that the terrorists had resumed sniper attacks at several sites in the Donbas conflict zone.
