Ukraine reports 3 WIA's in past 24 hours
Three Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in fighting in eastern Ukraine in the past 24 hours, according to a spokesman for the Ukrainian Presidential Administration.
"There were three wounded in action (WIA). Two of them were wounded during shelling near the town of Krasnohorivka and another was wounded near the village of Pavlopil," Andriy Lysenko, administration spokesman for Anti-Terrorist Operation issues, stated at a briefing in Kyiv on Friday, a UNIAN correspondent reported.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the combined Russian-separatist forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in eastern Ukraine 56 times in the past 24 hours.
