"There was one killed in action (KIA) and two wounded in action (WIA). We express our condolences to the family of the dead soldier," Andriy Lysenko, administration spokesman for Anti-Terrorist Operation issues, said at a briefing in Kyiv on Saturday, a UNIAN correspondent reported.
As UNIAN reported earlier, combined Russian-separatist forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in eastern Ukraine 52 times in the past 24 hours.
