Ukraine reports 4 WIA in past 24 hours

Four Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in fighting in eastern Ukraine in the past 24 hours, Defense Ministry speaker for Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Oleksandr Motuzianyk said at a briefing in Kyiv on Monday, October 10.


According to the press service of the Luhansk regional military and civil administration, one Ukrainian soldier was wounded during the shelling of the village of Novo-Oleksandrivka from anti-tank guided missiles, grenade launchers of various types, and heavy machine guns fire.

As UNIAN reported earlier, combined Russian-separatist forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in eastern Ukraine 22 times in the past 24 hours.
