According to the sources, this is stated in a letter addressed by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation to the military attaché at the Ukrainian Embassy in Russia.

In a letter dated November 26, in particular, it is written that, if Ukraine holds such test launches, the Russian side will in the first place shoot down Ukrainian missiles. Secondly, it will engage the Ukrainian missile launchers.

The Defense Ministry on Friday invited the Defense Attaché at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Russian Federation to hand over a military-diplomatic note in connection with Ukraine’s plans to conduct missile launches near Crimea.

In response, NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov has called on the Russian authorities not to panic because of missile drills in Ukraine.

He stressed that the missile tests would be carried out in accordance with all international obligations and commitments in Ukraine’s sovereign airspace.
