Yatsenyuk: Ukraine not to agree to federalization

"Ukraine will never accept concession to federalize the country, because it is an issue of the dismemberment of Ukraine," he said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on June 28, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said that decentralization would not weaken central authorities in the sphere of defense and national security, and had nothing in common with federalization.

"Decentralization will not weaken central authorities in such issues as defense, national security, rule of law, compliance with civil freedoms, and has nothing in common with federalization," he said.

"Ukraine has always been and will be a unitary state," Poroshenko said.
