"I came to Nadia to the Matrosskaya Tishina pre-trial detention facility, but I was told that she had already been taken away. Perhaps, she is still in Moscow, but I will hardly be able to see her here," lawyer Ilya Novikov told an UNIAN correspondent in Russia on Friday.

At the same time, Novikov said that it was unclear where she would be held in remand in Rostov region.

"There is no pre-trial detention center in the town of Donetsk in Rostov region, where court hearings will take place. The nearest facility is located in the town of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky," Novikov said but he did not rule out that she might be remanded in custody in the city of Rostov-on-Don.
