"The representation to the course has changed dramatically for the better, compared to the previous exercises, and reflects changes in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Non-commissioned officers arrived this time, of the younger generation, from different branches of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, who perform instructor duties," said head of the School for the non-commissioned officers Sergeant Major Bronius Basalikas.

According to Delfi.Lt with reference to the Ministry of Defense of Lithuania, the five-week course for the Ukrainian officers was organized with the mediation of NATO and was aimed to meet Ukraine’s needs.

The Ukrainians have ben trained by Lithuanian military instructors with extensive experience, who had earlier completed courses in the NATO member states. Their main task was to convey the Ukrainian military the knowledge and experience necessary for the planning and conduct of military exercises.
