REUTERS National Joint-Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine will reduce the minimum prices of natural gas for industrial consumers from March 1, 2018, by 10.8%, from UAH 9,195.6 ($344) per 1,000 cubic meters in February 2018 to UAH 8,200.8 ($306). At the same time, the maximum prices of natural gas for industrial consumers will be reduced by 10.6% on March 1, 2018, from UAH 10,141.2 ($379) per 1,000 cubic meters to UAH 9,063.6 ($339), the company said in a statement. Naftogaz quotations are differentiated depending on the volume of purchase, payment terms, and payment history, the company said. In other cases, buyers are to pay a higher price. All prices are VAT included. As UNIAN reported earlier, a new law on the natural gas market came into force in Ukraine on October 1, 2015, which deprived Ukraine&#39;s National Energy and Utilities Regulation Commission of the right to establish prices of natural gas for the industry. Naftogaz cut the minimum prices of natural gas for industrial consumers by 6% in February 2018, to UAH 9,195.6 per 1,000 cubic meters against January 2018, as well as reduced the maximum prices by 5.5%, to UAH 10,141.2 per 1,000 cubic meters.
