REUTERS International reserves of Ukraine now total US$18.5 billion, Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Oleh Churii told a briefing Thursday. &quot;Reserves as of today are approximately at $18.5 billion, taking into account the national bank&#39;s intervention,&quot; he said. According to Churii, recently the regulator has been conducting interventions, purchasing foreign currency almost daily. Taking into account the updated international reserves indicator, in February, reserves decreased by 0.4%. In 2017, Ukraine&#39;s foreign reserves increased by 21% to $18.808 billion. The National Bank forecasts the growth of Ukraine&#39;s international reserves by the end of 2018 to $20.5 billion.
