Ukraine's Cabinet to decide on gas prices for households before June 1 – energy minister

Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Ihor Nasalyk says the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will decide on further gas prices for households before June 1.

"We will make a decision before June 1," the minister told journalists following a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, May 23.

At the same time, Nasalyk noted that the ministry had prepared a draft resolution, which prolongs the special obligations of the National Joint-Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine for the sale of gas to households for another two months.

"However, the final decision will depend on many factors," the minister added.
