Uaenergy.com.ua Ukraine&#39;s largest natural gas producer, Ukrgazvydobuvannya, has opened a new gas field in Kharkiv region with confirmed reserves exceeding 300 million cubic meters (bcm) of gas and prospective resources estimated at more than 1.5 bcm. Ukrgazvydobuvannya has reached in the exploration well an industrial flow rate of 249,000 cubic meters, the company&#39;s press service said. It is noted that, after a special permit for subsoil use was obtained, exploration of the deposit and commissioning of the well were being carried out for 17 calendar months, whereas the process takes 2 to 4 years on average.
