In 2017-2018 marketing year (MY, July 1, 2017 - June 30, 2018), Ukraine delivered to foreign markets a total of 39.375 million tonnes of grain crops, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Food reported citing preliminary data.

In particular, Ukrainian farmers exported 17.1 million tonnes of wheat, 4.2 million tonnes of barley, 36,800 tonnes of rye, and 17.739 million tonnes of corn.

Also, in MY 2017-2018, some 412,600 tonnes of flour was exported.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukrainian agrarians in MY 2016-2017 exported 43.8 million tonnes of grains, setting the record over the entire history of the country's independence.

At the same time, the revenue from grain exports increased by 6%, to $6.4 billion.
