Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko says Russia has been excluded from the list of countries producing parts for the Ukrainian An-178 aircraft.

"The An-178 transport turbojet aircraft was developed by engineers from [the Ukrainian-based State Enterprise] Antonov. And, most importantly, 78% of its components are being produced in Ukraine. The Russian Federation is no longer on the list of countries manufacturing other parts for our An-178," Poroshenko wrote on Facebook on July 18.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine's multipurpose military transport aircraft An-178 has recently made its demo flight at the 2018 Farnborough International Airshow in the suburbs of London.
