REUTERS Exports of apples from Ukraine in the 2017-2018 season soared by 3.2 times. Ukraine exported 49,000 tonnes of apples over the period under review, the Ukrainian government&#39;s portal has said. In the previous 2016-2017 season, Ukraine shipped only 12,800 tonnes of apples abroad. As UNIAN reported, Ukrainian farmers in 2018 plan to harvest 400,000 – 500,000 tonnes of fruit and berries, which will be 10-30% up on 2017, according to preliminary estimates.
