The National Bank of Ukraine on Wednesday evening strengthened the official hryvnia exchange rate by seven kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 28.02 to the dollar.

The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for September 13:
US$100 costs UAH 2,802.6096 (UAH 2,809.5614 as of September 12);
EUR 100 costs UAH 3,246.8232 (UAH 3,251.7864 as of September 12);
On Wednesday, September 12, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade settled at UAH 28.05/28.08 to the dollar.
Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 32.52/32.56, while those against the Russian ruble settled at UAH 0.40/0.41.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 12:00 was UAH 28.0195 to the dollar.
