Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman predicts that trade between Ukraine and Germany may hit EUR 10 billion per year in the coming years.

"Our bilateral trade is growing steadily. I think in the coming years we can reach a level of about 10 billion euros," Groysman said at a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Kyiv on November 1.

It was also announced at the meeting that the Ukrainian prime minister would visit Germany in November. He is scheduled to take part in a business forum there.

As UNIAN reported, trade between Ukraine and Germany in January-August 2018 amounted to US$5.35 billion.
