REUTERS Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman says Ukraine sees a number of opportunities for deepening cooperation with the United States of America in the energy sector. "We see a wide range of opportunities for deepening cooperation in the energy sector between the United States and Ukraine. This includes Ukrainian natural gas production, gas transmission system [GTS] management, nuclear energy, and other areas," the prime minister said during a meeting with U.S. Secretary of Energy Rick Perry in Kyiv on November 12. Transit shipments of natural gas through the Ukrainian gas transmission system in 2016 grew by 23% from 2015, to 82.2 bcm.
