REUTERS The deficit of Ukraine&#39;s foreign trade in goods and services in 2018 was estimated at US$5.826 billion, which was 2.3 times up from the deficit recorded at $2.501 billion in 2017. The deficit of foreign trade in commodities over the period under review grew by 1.5 times, to $9.801 billion, while the surplus of foreign trade in services rose by 15.5%, to $6.049 billion. The State Statistics Service said the report does not include data from Russian-occupied areas in Crimea, Sevastopol and parts of Luhansk and Donetsk regions. As UNIAN reported earlier, according the National Bank of Ukraine, the deficit of Ukraine&#39;s foreign trade in goods and services in 2018 totaled $11.492 billion, which was 32.9% up from the deficit recorded at $8.644 billion in 2017.
