NBU weakens official forex rate to UAH 27.01 to dollar for March 18

The National Bank of Ukraine on Friday evening weakened the official hryvnia exchange rate by 30 kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 27.01 to the dollar.

The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for March 18:

US$100 costs UAH 2,701.4849 (UAH 2,671.6488 as of March 15);

EUR 100 costs UAH 3,054.8391 (UAH 3,017.6273 as of March 15);

On Friday, March 15, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade settled at UAH 27.02/27.06 to the dollar.

Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 30.63/30.68.
