REUTERS The deficit of Ukraine&#39;s balance of payments in January-February 2019 grew by 1.6 times year-over-year (y-o-y), to US$316 million. The current account for the period under review was in surplus, totaling US$146 million, but it was 22% down y-o-y, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has reported. As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine&#39;s balance of payments in 2018 was in surplus for the fourth year in a row. It was US$2.877 billion, which was 12% up on the country&#39;s surplus in 2017.
