Fitch predicts hryvnia exchange rate in Ukraine by late 2019

Fitch Ratings predicts the hryvnia exchange rate at UAH 28.86 to the dollar by the end of this year.

"Fitch's key assumptions within our rating case for the issuer include USD/UAH exchange rate of 28.86 in 2019 and 30.60 for 2020," Fitch Ratings said in a press release on the rating of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Morgan Stanley analysts forecast that Ukraine's hryvnia will weaken by UAH 4 to UAH 31 per U.S. dollar by the end of 2019 and further to UAH 32.5 per U.S. dollar by the end of 2020.
