Naftogaz will pay only for gas supplied through agreed gas measuring stations

"The parties have confirmed that for settlements under the winter package, only that volume of gas that is supplied through the gas measuring stations agreed with the Central Dispatch Department of PJSC Ukrtransgaz will be [taken into account]," a statement from the Ukrainian company reads.

During the meeting the negotiating teams from the EU, Ukraine and Russia also assessed the implementation of agreements on Russian gas supplies to Ukrainian consumers in winter.

Naftogaz presented evidence of breaches of contract under the "winter package" by the Russian side. The two sides also discussed the situation with gas supplies to the occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine, as reported by the company’s press office.
