Official hryvnia strengthens to UAH 26.72 per U.S. dollar

The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official forex rate of the hryvnia, Ukraine's national currency, for the next business day, April 17, at UAH 26.72 per U.S. dollar.

The official forex rate set for April 16 was UAH 26.81 per U.S. dollar.

The April 17 official forex rate are the following:

• $100 are sold for UAH 2,672.2277 (UAH 2,681.0204 on April 16);
• EUR 100 are sold for UAH 30,20.9534 (UAH 3,033.0384 on April 16).

On Tuesday, April 16, hryvnia-dollar quotations on the interbank forex market in Ukraine were set at UAH 26.70/26.72 by the end of trading, which was two kopiykas up on the previous auction's closure.

A dealer of a commercial bank told UNIAN that the hryvnia quotes against the euro were at UAH 30.16/30.19 per, which is three kopiykas up on the previous trading.
