Year-over-year inflation in February in Ukraine accelerates to 34.5%

Inflation in Ukraine in February 2015 alone accelerated to 5.3% from 3.1% in January 2015, the State Statistics Service reported.

The data do not include statistics from the occupied peninsula of Crimea with the city of Sevastopol and the regions in eastern Ukraine where the anti-terrorist operation is under way.

Inflation in February 2015 from February 2014 accelerated to 34.5% against 28.5% in January 2015 from January 2014.

Inflation in Ukraine in January through February 2015 was 8.6% year-over-year, the State Statistics Service said.
