REUTERS Sales of new commercial vehicles in Ukraine in January-April 2019 dropped by 16% year-over-year (y-o-y), to 3,398 vehicles. Some 858 new commercial vehicles were sold in April 2019 alone, which was 28% down y-o-y, the Ukrautoprom association&#39;s press service said. Fiat was second with 129 vehicles sold, which was a third more than in April 2018. The Mercedes-Benz brand whose sales in April 2019 reached 60 vehicles (62% up y-o-y) became third in terms of sales of new commercial vehicles. Ford ranked fourth with 54 vehicles sold, having demonstrated a 66% drop in sales against April 2018. The Volkswagen brand whose sales in the fourth month of 2019 totaled 50 vehicles (34% down y-o-y) joined the top five leaders in terms of sales of new commercial vehicles in Ukraine. As UNIAN reported earlier, the country&#39;s sales of new commercial vehicles in 2018 grew by 20% from 2017, to 51,500 units, according to Ukrautoprom.
