Photo from UNIAN The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) says most of operating banks in Ukraine, or 69 out of 77 solvent banks, in January-March 2019 posted profit, while eight financial institutions completed the first quarter (Q1) with a loss. The most profitable were such solvent banks as PrivatBank (UAH 7.6 billion, or US$288.5 million), Raiffeisen Bank Aval (UAH 1.1 billion, or $41.8 million), OTP Bank (UAH 793 million, or $30.1 million), PJSC First Ukrainian International Bank FUIB (UAH 757 million, or $28.7 million), and Prominvestbank (UAH 633 million, or $24 million).
