REUTERS The deficit of Ukraine&#39;s foreign trade in commodities and services in January-March 2019 almost doubled to US$390.5 million year-over-year. The deficit of foreign trade in goods alone rose by 13% in the first three months, to US$1.456 billion, while foreign trade in services showed a surplus, which grew by 2%, to $1.489 billion, the State Statistics Service of Ukraine said on its website. According to NBU estimates, Ukraine in 2018 saw a deficit of US$11.492 billion in foreign trade in goods and services, which was 32.9% higher than the deficit in 2017. At the same time, the State Statistics Service of Ukraine estimated Ukraine&#39;s foreign trade deficit in 2018 at US$5.826 billion, or 2.3 times higher than the deficit in 2017.
