NBU strengthens official forex rate to UAH 26.20 to dollar for May 21

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on Monday evening strengthened the official hryvnia exchange rate by 16 kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 26.20 to the dollar.

The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for May 21:

US$100 costs UAH 2,620.2895 (UAH 2,636.8202 as of May 20);

EUR 100 costs UAH 2,926.0773 (UAH 2,945.8555 as of May 20);

As UNIAN reported earlier, on Monday, May 20, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade settled at UAH 26.12/26.16 to the dollar.

Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 29.16/29.20.
