However, she added after the adoption of the relevant decision by the parliament, the members of the current government would work as acting ones until the appointment of a new Cabinet. As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on May 20 announced the dissolution of the Verkhovna Rada and early parliamentary elections. He also proposed the current government to resign. A few hours later, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman announced his decision to resign following the next government meeting on Wednesday, May 22. Experts polled by UNIAN say the resignation of the prime minister may be an obstacle to continuing the current program with the International Monetary Fund, whose mission began work in Kyiv on May 21.
