NBU strengthens hryvnia official rate to UAH 23.19 to dollar

As of 1400 the central bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies:

$100 – UAH 2,319.0613 (as of 1400 on March 19 it was UAH 2,339.4039);

EUR 100 – UAH 2,476.0618 (as of 1400 on March 19 it was UAH 2,477.8966);

10 Russian rubles – UAH 3.8760 (as of 1400 on March 19 it was UAH 3.8133).

As reported earlier, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market on Friday rose to UAH 23.30 to the dollar.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the National Bank of Ukraine lowered the hryvnia’s value in recent days, bringing it down below the fundamental level agreed with the IMF.
