REUTERS The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on June 3-7, 2019, boosted purchases of foreign currency on the interbank forex market by nine times from the previous week, May 27-31, 2019, to US$102.7 million. Since the beginning of the year, the central bank&#39;s purchases of foreign currency have exceeded its sales by six times, or by US$1.188 billion, it said. As UNIAN reported earlier, the central bank in May 2019 bought US$160.6 million on the interbank forex market to replenish the country&#39;s international reserves. The regulator bought US$203.6 million, while sold US$43 million during that month.
