According to the data of the State Statistics Service, Ukraine's GDP in 2014 shrank by 6.8% compared to the previous year.
Jaresko also expressed confidence that the exchange rate would remain in the range of UAH 22-24 to the dollar over the next four years, subject to the progress in implementing the reform plan envisaged in Ukraine’s cooperation program with the International Monetary Fund.
"I'm sure it will be - if we do everything necessary to reform our economy," Jaresko said when asked whether the exchange rate forecast of the IMF was realistic.

As reported earlier, on x March 11 the IMF approved a four-year loan program for Ukraine worth $17.5 billion.
The first tranche, worth $5 billion, has already been sent to Ukraine.
