REUTERS The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on the third week of June 2019 bought US$40.5 million on the interbank forex market to replenish the country&#39;s international reserves, which was 66.7% down against the previous week. Since June 1, the NBU has bought $278.3 million. At the same time, the regulator did not sell the currency, according to the regulator&#39;s website. Since the beginning of the year, the central bank&#39;s purchases of foreign currency have exceeded sales seven-fold, or by $1.364 billion, the report said. The regulator bought $203.6 million, while sold $43 million during that month.
