Naftogaz sends Gazprom $30 mln advance payment under new agreement

As UNIAN reported earlier, in the evening of April 1, Naftogaz and Gazprom signed a three-month agreement for the supply of Russian gas to Ukraine at a price of $248 per 1,000 cubic meters.

According to Ukrainian Energy Minister Volodymyr Demchyshyn, the average price of gas supplied from Europe for Ukraine today is about $270 per 1,000 cubic meters.

"Ukraine will continue purchasing gas in the European market, despite the decline in the price for Russian fuel," he said.
