REUTERS Sales of new passenger cars in Ukraine grew by 0.3% in January-July 2019 year-over-year (y-o-y), to 46,300 vehicles. The French brand Renault was in the lead in the country&#39;s new passenger car market. Owners of new Renault cars received 1,203 license plates in July 2019, which was 66% up against 2018. Toyota ranked second with 1,039 new cars sold in July, which was 44% up y-o-y. The Skoda brand was third: 687 Skoda cars were sold in July 2019, which was 37% up y-o-y. The KIA brand ranked fourth with 595 cars registered, which was 36% up against the figure posted in July 2018. The Nissan brand ranked fifth with 488 new cars sold and registered in July 2019, which was 5% up y-o-y. As UNIAN reported earlier, the country&#39;s sales of new passenger cars in 2018 grew by 0.6% from 2017, to 81,800 units.
