National budget 2020 based on forecast rate of UAH 28.02 per dollar

Ukraine's draft budget for 2020 is based on the current macroeconomic forecast of the UAH 28.02 per dollar exchange rate.

This was announced today by Finance Minister Oksana Markarova during today's briefing following a government meeting.

"The dollar is indicated in macro forecasts. Macro forecast was approved in May this year. It's out there on the website – it has been made public. It has the dollar exchange rate for next year at UAH 28.2. And this is the rate on which the budget is being built," said the head of the finance ministry.
