
Ukraine in 2020 is set to allocate UAH 438.1 billion for paying off and servicing public debt, says Minister of Finance Oksana Markarova.
Speaking at a Kyiv briefing on Sunday following a government meeting, Markarova said: "We will have about UAH 438.1 billion – this is a lot. This is our spending on paying off and servicing the debt next year," an UNIAN correspondent reports.

"This is a challenge on the one hand, and on the other – this is what our work is aimed at next year," the minister said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the volume of the public and state-guaranteed debt of Ukraine in January-July 2019 increased in dollar terms by $4.08 billion, or by 5.2%, to $82.4 billion.
