In January-September 2019, the hryvnia strengthened by 12.6% against the U.S. dollar and by 16.9% against the euro. As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine&#39;s national currency in August 2019 weakened by 0.8% against the U.S. dollar, to UAH 25.23 at the NBU official rate. Ukraine&#39;s state budget for 2019 is based on the forecast rate set at UAH 29.4 to the dollar by the end of 2019.
