June futures for North Sea Brent blend fell by 0.43% - to $64.52 per barrel, while June futures for WTI crude oil were down by 0.5% - to $57.45 per barrel.

In the course of trading on Thursday, April 23, Brent increased by more than 3%, reaching $65.51 per barrel.

The rise in oil prices was attributed to the news from the Middle East, where an Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia again launched airstrikes on the positions of Yemen's Houthi rebels.
